Your reminders are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud backup, your data is synced via your personal iCloud account. We do not operate any servers that store your reminder data.
Someday Reminder uses PostHog for anonymous usage analytics, hosted in the EU. Analytics is opt-in — it is disabled by default and only enabled if you explicitly turn it on in Settings. When enabled, we collect:
We do not collect your name, email, reminder content, or any personally identifiable information. Any text you submit through the in-app feedback form is automatically stripped of email addresses and phone numbers before transmission.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties. Analytics data is processed by PostHog under their privacy policy.
If you enable calendar sync, Someday Reminder reads and writes events to your Apple Calendar. This data stays on your device and within your iCloud account. Calendar access can be revoked at any time in Settings.
Push notifications are processed entirely on-device using Apple's local notification system. No notification data is sent to external servers.
Someday Reminder does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
